Program Outcome
Participants will differentiate the benefits of prescribing a plant-based diet, physical activity and stress management techniques for the treatment of chronic lifestyle related diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and its risk factors, overweight / obesity, and some cancers.

Continuing Education

Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is approved as an accredited CME sponsor by the American Osteopathic Association. This program has been approved for 1 credit of AOA Category 1-A credit.

CHEAO is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (OBN-001-91) (OH-049, 10/1/2017).
This program meets the criteria for 1 contact hour for nurses. You must attend the whole presentation and turn in an evaluation form to receive CE Credit.
