Volunteers are needed to assist with the 2018 Ohio River Sweep on the Hocking. Local riverbank clean-up efforts are being hosted by the Athens Soil and Water Conservation District and its partnering agencies.

Visit www.athensswcd.org to pre-register (encouraged) or meet at the Athens Community Center parking lot on East State Street at 9 am to register.

Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. Trash bags and a limited number of gloves will be provided.
